God the Mother, who is testified by all creation, is the Savior who works together with God the Father to grant eternal life to humanity. All things exist and are sustained according to the will of God. One of the universal principles observed among living organisms is that new life is born through both a father and a mother. Through this natural order, we can perceive the existence of God the Savior who gives eternal life.

The Creator of All Things

Nothing in the world comes into existence on its own. Even the simplest objects, such as a piece of paper or a pencil, are produced through intentional effort. Likewise, all things in the universe have a Creator. In the 19th century, French microbiologist Louis Pasteur disproved the theory of spontaneous generation and confirmed the principle of biogenesis—life comes only from life. From that time forward, humanity faced a new question: How did the first life begin?[1] Although scientists have proposed various hypotheses,[2] none has been universally accepted. The Bible, however, provides a clear answer: All things were created by God, who personally gave them life and breath.

“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.”

Acts 17:24–25

God created countless forms of life on this small planet within the vast universe.[3] Living organisms are broadly classified into plants and animals. Approximately 350,000 species of plants[4] and over a million species of animals are known to exist on Earth.[5] Because Earth alone sustains such diverse life, it is often referred to as the “oasis of the universe.”

Life in All Creation and God the Mother

Life Given Through Mothers

In the animal kingdom, most creatures are born from a mother.

Living organisms continue to exist through the birth of new life, and mothers play a central role in that process. The idea that every creature has a mother is universally accepted. Among the five biological kingdoms—Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia[6]—the majority of animals reproduce sexually, with offspring developing from the mother’s body. Among roughly one million known animal species—wild animals that roam the grasslands, birds that soar in the sky, fish that swim in the seas, and even tiny insects that live beneath the soil—forms and behaviors differ greatly, yet all share one common truth: Life is passed from mother to offspring. This principle is reflected in the role God assigned to Eve.

To the woman [Eve] he said, “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”

Genesis 3:16

There is one thing that only women can do—conceive and give birth. God created this essential role for women alone, and this providence extends to the entire animal kingdom. The unchanging law of life reveals God’s profound intention for humanity to understand His divine will.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Revelation 4:11

Eternal Life Given Through God the Mother

The Bible teaches that everything created by God contains clues through which His eternal power and divine nature can be understood. These signs of the invisible God are not hidden in unreachable places but are clearly revealed throughout heaven and earth—visible to anyone who observes with spiritual eyes.

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Romans 1:20

The natural world, in which life is given through both a father and a mother—especially through the mother—foreshadows the spiritual truth that eternal life[7] is granted not only by God the Father but also through God the Mother. The Bible,[8] which testifies about God, clearly reveals the existence of both God the Father and God the Mother.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, . . .” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:26–27

When God created mankind, He referred to Himself in the plural as “us.” As a result, both male and female were created in the image of God. This shows that within the image of God exists not only the male image but also the female image. The male image is God the Father,[9] and the female image is God the Mother.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. . . . Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.

Galatians 4:26–28

According to the providence of all creation, the mother is the source of life. This same principle applies to the providence of eternal life. The name Eve, given to the first woman created alongside Adam, means life—symbolizing that the one who gives eternal life is God the Mother.[10][11] The prophecy that God the Mother will appear alongside God the Father to grant eternal life is described in the book of Revelation as the Spirit and the Bride giving the water of life. Those who believe in and receive God the Mother, who appears in the last days, will receive the water of life and attain eternal life.

Mother’s Love Sustains Life

A mother spares no sacrifice for the life of her child.

The birth of new life, whether in humans or animals, is invariably accompanied by the suffering of the mother. In the case of humans, a mother carries her child in the womb for nine months and ultimately gives birth through a process that involves the shedding of blood. According to the McGill Pain Index, which quantifies human pain, childbirth ranks as the third most intense form of pain—following causalgia (burning pain) and amputation.[12] Despite the immense pain she endures, a mother raises her child with love and sacrifice. When her child is in danger, she does not hesitate to risk even her own life.[13][14]

Animals, too, display powerful maternal instincts when giving birth and caring for their young. When a predator appears, the natural instinct for self-preservation would ordinarily compel an animal to flee. However, if offspring are present, that instinct changes. The mother will often face the predator, risking her own life to protect her young.[15][16] The instinct to preserve one’s own life is thus overcome by a stronger, selfless instinct—to protect one’s offspring.

Scientists explain this maternal behavior through the action of the hormone oxytocin. Oxytocin not only induces labor and stimulates milk production but also enables the mother’s body to respond properly and strengthens her bond with the baby.[17] Care that arises from this maternal instinct provides warmth, comfort, and security to the child and becomes a vital force sustaining the life of the young. It is this God-designed instinct that has preserved and propagated life on Earth throughout the ages.

Just as the natural principle that life is born from the mother testifies to the existence of God the Mother, who grants eternal life, the association of the word mother with love in human consciousness reflects the love of God the Mother. God the Mother, revealed through all creation, is the origin of life and love. When one traces the unconditional love a mother bestows upon her children, one ultimately reaches its source—God.

God is love.
