God the Son is one of the three persons of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It refers to Jesus Christ, who came as the Son of God. According to the biblical doctrine of the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are fundamentally one and the same God.
In the Age of the Son, God the Father came into the world as a man, according to biblical prophecy, and carried out His work under the name Jesus.[1][2] Although Jesus is, in essence, God the Father,[3] He did not cling to the divine glory of God but humbled Himself and became obedient even to death.[4][5] He also personally practiced the teachings that the people of God must follow in order to receive salvation.
The reason Jesus, as the Son of God, carried out the gospel ministry was to set an example of faith and deeds for God’s children.[6]
