Introduction to the World Mission Society Church of God

The Church of God is the name of the early Church established by Jesus Christ Himself 2,000 years ago and attended by the apostles (1 Corinthians 1:2; Galatians 1:13). After the apostolic age, pagan doctrines entered the church, causing it to become rapidly secularized. The life-giving truths that Christ taught by example, including the New Covenant Passover and the Sabbath, were eventually lost to history. As a result, countless denominations and man-made doctrines proliferated, bringing about a spiritual dark age in which it became difficult to discern the true teachings of Christ. Today, the Church of God is the only church that has preserved not only the name of the early Church but also its original truth and faith.
