If we realize the Passover and celebrate it, we can worship only God, not other gods. For example, God destroyed the gods of Egypt on the night of the Passover in the time of Moses. दश | [[दश आज्ञा]]मध्येको “मबाहेक अरू कुनै देवता-देवीहरू नमान्नू” भन्ने [[पहिलो आज्ञा|पहिलो]] आज्ञाभित्र दुई वटा आज्ञाहरू समावेश छन् : “अरू देवताहरूलाई नमान्नू” र “परमेश्वरलाई मात्र मान्नू ।” निस्तार-चाडचाहिँ अन्य देवता-देवीहरूलाई नष्ट गरेर परमेश्वरलाई मात्र मान्न सक्ने गराउने विशेष सत्यता हो । कारण प्रस्थानको समयदेखि नै परमेश्वरले निस्तार-चाडलाई अन्य देवता-देवीहरूलाई नष्ट गर्ने दिनको रूपमा स्थापना गर्नुभयो । यदि निस्तार-चाडको दिनमा अन्य देवताहरू सबै नष्ट हुन्छन् भने केवल परमेश्वर मात्र बाँकी रहनुहुन्छ भन्ने अर्थ हो । यदि हामी निस्तार-चाडलाई महसुस गरेर मान्दछौं भने हामीले अरू देवता-देवीहरूलाई होइन तर केवल परमेश्वरलाई मात्र पुज्न सक्नेछौं । उदाहरणको लागि, परमेश्वरले मोशाको समयमा निस्तार-चाडको रातमा मिश्रका देवताहरूलाई नष्ट गर्नुभएको थियो । हिजकिया र योशियाहको समयमा पनि इस्राएलीहरूले निस्तार-चाड मानेपछि बल्ल मूर्तिहरूलाई हटाई केवल परमेश्वरलाई मात्र मान्न सकेका थिए । नयाँ करारको समयमा पनि यदि हामीले नयाँ करार निस्तार-चाड मान्यौं भने हामीले पहिलो आज्ञा पूर्ण रूपमा पालन गर्न सक्नेछौं । | ||
