Church of God Literature Ministry

The Church of God Literature Ministry has been carried out since the early days of the Church to plant the love of God and the hope of salvation in the hearts of people around the world. Publications in a wide range of genres are produced, including books and sermon collections that explain the truth in easy-to-understand terms, educational materials for members, periodicals, essay collections, and collections of original children’s stories. These publications are produced by the Church of God Publishing Mission Center, translated into more than sixty languages, and distributed around the world.
Overview of the Church of God Literature Ministry
When describing the influence of the written word, people often say, “The pen is mightier than the sword.” This means that words filled with conviction can move people’s hearts and evoke empathy more powerfully than physical force or coercion. The book that best demonstrates the power of the written word is the Bible. Recorded over thousands of years, the Bible transcends time and space, continuing to awaken people around the world to the love and power of God and to show the proper attitude of true believers. It serves as the foundation of the literature ministry. The history recorded in the Bible retains its unchanging value through the ages, teaching the mysteries of salvation and eternal truth.
The purpose of the Church of God Literature Ministry is to accurately convey the truth of salvation to humanity through writings imbued with the love of God the Father and God the Mother, and to bring deep spiritual resonance and inspiration to people around the world. Printed materials, including books, have the advantage of being relatively easy to produce and distribute and, unlike other media such as video, can be used without dedicated devices or electricity. Building on these advantages, Church publications are translated in-house through the Church of God Overseas Mission Division and local Church members around the world, enabling them to spread the love of God beyond borders and cultures.
Publications used in the literature ministry include books written by Christ Ahnsahnghong, sermon collections, and age-specific educational materials for members. They also include periodicals featuring writings by members around the world, essay collections, collections of original children’s stories, and various other printed materials.
These publications are translated into languages ranging from widely spoken languages such as English, Spanish, Chinese, and Hindi to regional languages such as Khasi, Bengali, Croatian, and Gujarati. They reach not only major cities around the world but also remote areas with limited communications, such as the Amazon rainforest and the Himalayas. Some books written by Ahnsahnghong and certain sermon collections have also been produced as audiobooks.
