On the first day of the eleventh month, 40 years after leaving Egypt, Moses and the Israelites arrived in the east of the [[River of Jordan|Jordan]] on the plains of Moab. He told them that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Then, he urge them to fear God and keep His commands because God had them walk in the desert so that in the end it might go well with them. Moreover, Moses explained in detail God’s decrees and laws that they must keep all our lives: [[Ten Commandments]], [[Feasts of God|the feasts]], [[Tithe|tithes]], etc.
